:cussing: Has anyone else heard of problems with the gas-line inside the tank deteriorating into sticky, slimy pieces of goo that don't even resemble gas line anymore :( ? I mean it was totally dissolved into little globs that stuck right to the tank the minute it was drained ??? . Once you put the gas back in they loosened up again  . I was told because it's a clear tank the sun will cause this to happen.

I've never seen that problem, but I have heard that the reason Polaris doesn't use the clear tanks anymore is because of the the UV thing and what it does to gas. I still think it looks really cool though, and would love to have a clear tank for my sled. Plus it's sooo much easier to see how much gas you have left then to trust in a stupid gage that doesn't tell you much.
That sled you have must be pretty sweet in the trails. How do you like it so far? What's the power like? How much did you spend (if you don't mind me asking) and how did you have to do many repairs to make it dependable?

I would say someone replaced the line inside the tank with rubber tubing not designed for fuel and or oil. Fuel line does however get brittle over time, the blue poly fuel line is great stuff, and stays pliable even at sub zero temps.
