JUST BOUGHT A EXTREME BELT FOR A 1997 800 STORM , IT LASTED 100MILES. I HEARD DAYCO MAKES A GOOD BELT, IS IT???????

if it only lasted 100 miles your clutch is out of line or somthing, i had a XLT that ate belts one time but it was because i had the engine out and when i put it back i never lined it up properly. but really every polaris i had was hard on belts but i got more than 100 miles out of them just the same.

i say u ride a polaris use polaris belts. if u ride cat, use cat belts. thats just the way i think.

I'm with dawg on this one for sure! I haven't heard anything good about aftermarket belts. Must be best to run with what the manufacturer intended.
