Got a set of these at a good price, and was wondering what anyone has experienced for jetting cahnges? Its about as lean as I want to go, so if i'm going to have to start screwing with jetting, I'll wait till next year, as the season is getting close to ending, and I prefer to ride than wrench.

I put Boysens in with spacers and dropped the main 1 size down. This is a DPM sled and it runs awsome.....plug color has been perfect. I dont think I got any big HP gains, but my sled runs spot on clean and nasty.

what sled? the cause and effect is not always the same in each motor
for example I put them in a 00 700 doo and went down 1 on the main, dropped the needle 1 clip and leaned the screw out about 1/2 turn from stock. Haven't done it but I'd like to try a smaller pilot also. Pulls the same clutching so don't think I gained or lost anthing. Throttle response and fuel milage increased.
On my KTM they really changed the powerband but didn't seem to change the jetting at all.

I went to 2 under(260's),and have had this set-up on the sled for 3 years now.
01 mxzx 800. Dropped mains to 470 w/Boyessen sp?reeds. Stock motor w/dpm . Cleaned up the response nicely. I ride at 1,200-3,500. Probably will drop main one more size because plug readings have been darker than I like. $ well spent IMO.

My only suggestion is to quit wrenching and go big. Remember there is no replacement for displacement.
