I was in the UP last week and the trails were mostly long rolling bumps. I couldn't break 45 without bottoming out on every other bump. Also, the sled wants to nosedive every time it comes off the ground. I don't think the dealer ever set it up because they did not even grease it when I picked it up. My wife's 96 Cougar with its shorter susupension actually rode better on the long rolling bumps but not the short ones. I weigh about 210lbs with gear on and have the torsion spring on the highest setting. The front track spring was at its minimum setting. I turned it up a few turns and seemed to help the bottoming but not the nosedive. Before I adjusted it, the track was glued to the trail, now it slides nicely around the curves. Any advice on suspension setup and tuning would be appreciated.

Hi Enginerd,,, My $02. would be,, 1 Do you have enough preload on your ski springs? to help level out the sled,, since it sounds like you have your rear preload maxed out,, ( on the 3rd cam position), or it almost sounds like your rear shock has NO rebound damping,, Those are RydeFX shocks aren't they, so there isn't much you could do about them,, It sounds like your dealer dropped the ball also  on set up,, ( its usually just the kids that prep the sleds) :nervous: hopefully some others will have more or better diagnosis,,,
