Yeah, I saw that last year too -- still, it's frigg'n AMAZING!

It was a huge deal when Cory Hart did a loop on a 200 lb dirtbike, but doing it on a 450 lb sled is TRUELY awesome!

Nice clean landing too!

SledNecks 4 or 5 (I forget which one), but it took several attemps before he made that final jump. Sweet! I bet the REV could do a double flip with a full twist (HaHa). :inlove: :)

REV69 is right. It's from SLEDNECKS 4. Suprisingly he had tried several attemps and all the attemps were done with the same sled.

Yeah, the same stock 700 Summitt. Almost stock, anyway. He did put that grip tape up under the footwells so his feet would stay in. Jim Rippey is nuts.

If you check the ramp quinlin did his backflip on, it would not be the hardest thing to do, but it is very hard and takes a lot of balls. If any of you have jumped before know if you hold you gas on a normal jump your sled will go straight up to the point of flipping backwards, so by starting with a straight up angle already when you hold the gas you will already be past the upside down mark,or right there, so then just hold on pull back and spot the landing, and make sure to keep on the gas to make the sled spin around, just like if your nose diving your hold the gas to to bring the back end down. Once you start spinning your track will act like a big gyro spinning your around. ME and my friend have been thinking about it, it is possible for us to do, BUT it takes a lot of balls to do it, and very risky and you could get serisoly hurt doing it. Maybe if i had a ramp like quinlin did his on and could try into water maybe i would try it

These tricks are awesome to watch but unless your very lucky it takes a lot of preparation and understanding of the physical laws affecting snowmobiles in flight. I guess it's no good to say "Don't try this at home kids" . So if you feel you must try these stunts then please do your home work first. Look at what the professionals do in preparation for their tricks. Many hours work are applied for a few seconds excitment. The results can be rewarding BUT they can also hurt like hell and get expensive.

I for one am not at all impressed with Quinlin's back flip off a ramp. Who cares as anyone with balls can hit a ramp. It's trial and error building a ramp in snow like jim did that ROCKS!!!!!!!!!! All those people are stupid to pay to see the Braap pack also. I saw them while at Nelson's Snow motion and they SUCKED! All they did was destoy a new machine after tail landing it several times. Free riders are true riders and stuntman. And SSledneck 4 was definetly better than 5. And every knows this so I hope they made 6 better.

No matter what you guys say, that is a sick trick. You can say whatever you want about the ramp making it easy, but you still have to land the thing square after the flip in the air. If it's so easy, you should go do the same this weekend and post a clip of it on here for all of us to enjoy!! :p :D

I think slednecks 5 is better than 4 myself. Ryan001 agrees with me also.

But i agree rippeys backflip was more crazy than quinlins because quilin probably calculated it and got the best angle to do the flip off the ramp where rippey just went and did it.
