Will the suspension out of a 1999 Grand Touring fit in my 1996 Formula III LT? Is the 99 the air ride type?

You know what they say ... you can do anything if you really want too. My brother put a newer polaris LT suspension in his mid 90's Formula SS 670. He had to drill some new holes in the tunnel and rivet some mounting plates to the tunnel/running boards but it worked. I'd imagine it will be a little easier using a Doo suspension.

One question though. Why not use an SC10-II or III? Its going to cost a little more but the ride quality is day and night over the older suspensions. If your going to go through the hassle, make it worth your time and money.

the reason for going with the sc-10 and not the newer suspension is because i didnt think they would fit with out alot of hassle and i also found an sc-10 and track for $300. Cant beat it. Maybe if you can find me an sc-10 III out of a renegade or something because i need the 136" skid.
