Went to the dealer for my final price and he said $10,200 Out the Door(tax,title,registration,set-up). I was wondering if any of you have gotton prices yet? I've gotta have it though! What a machine at 456lbs.

That's rediculous! If that's what the pricing really is on those things, what a shame for Polaris. Finally an awesome big cc trail sled, and to ruin it with that kind of price?! Caleb, hopefully you can shop around and realize that dealer is trying to put the screws to you. Good Luck....you better close some loans fast!

over sticker?All the prices seemed to be higher than the new

I actually was able to catch a glance at my dealers book as he priced it and it's not far from cost. Polaris is Fricking nuts but us diehards will pay it!Errrrrr. Think about it, they sell 440 race chassis out of the race dept for $4,000 and www.tracksusa.com sells new VES 800 motors listed at 2399 complete, add say $550 for the pipe for the race chassis and you'll have a wopping$7,050 bucks into it. So what the heck id up with the MSPR of $9,999? It's darn nuts.

What did you expect is basically a race sled :doh: ,you get the best out of everything hence the cost :sly:

If you want a cheaper version get the ProX or XC SP 800

considering the technology that is in the race sleds, I am suprised they go for as cheap as they do
many unused racing sleds available for $5000-6000 it seems
i want my next sled to be a racer even if i don't race
the sleds that are at the $10000 level should have more technology available then the $6000 sled from the year before
buy the sled then sell the motor is another option if you can't get the race chassis
i just don't want to pay for race gas and would like the engine detuned to the point of being almost bulletproof (rev 440 first choice, pol 2nd but both nice)

Just by way of comparison, check out the Doo MXZX GPI? Racer model spring only. Not as fully blown as the PROX 2R and it is MSRP'd at 9500.00.

I priced them yesterday. An 800 pro xr was $9400.00 out the door and a 700 prox2 was $8400, and a prox2 800 was $8900 at my dealer.

Just to let you all know I bought my sled from a friend who got it out of a paper for 5500 and I basically have the same sled as the X-r. Sled dog your right about the race chassis and I'm pretty sure your dealer can get a rolling chassis as a part number in the range you were talkin about. It would be alot of work though and after all the BS it would problebly be close. Just keep your eye out there theres plenty more snocross mod sleds out there for everyone!!

Called my dealer yesterday. $11958 Canadian=$8247 US. Out the door price then add state sales tax. Beat this price!
