I got hit this afternoon at a tight corner I think it was just a bad time to be there.Nobody got hurt but there was minor damage to my sled & the other nobody laid any blame.Im willing to pay for mine not much damage(not worth the increase in insurance)but if this happens in the future who's insurance covers what? And how do you decide who's fault it was.Usually it's always the other person.(not like you can call the police and have them decide)Never really thought about this before but it would be nice to know.

Did you folks figure out who was at fault and did you exchage insurance info/drivers lic/ownership/phone #'s etc? Over a certain dollar value of the damage (can't remember the amount) you are also required by law to report the accident to Police.
If you two agreed you were both at fault and are going to fix your own it would be a good idea to confirm it with a written agreement to save problems with both the local law and your insurance company down the road should the other party try and make a claim and or blame you for the accident.
