: Revagade
doonut 03-10-2003, 08:32 AM Thinking of spring checking a Revagade800ho. Think the 136 will help with the lack of deep powder handling? Getting tired of getting my REV stuck in the deep stuff off trail. Think it will adversely affect the REV's great ride?
Rad Chad 03-10-2003, 09:05 AM I think it will only get better. :D
idooski 03-10-2003, 02:43 PM Have fun with that short windshield. Cost $2000.00 too much too. Doo thinks it's a Mach or something.

I couldn't agree more ;) At the rate they are going up in price i just may have to get a 03 ZX leftover and ride it for the next 6 years ;)
idooski 03-10-2003, 03:47 PM I'm looking for a leftover right now.
permafrost 03-10-2003, 04:05 PM I agree also and think that they are way overpriced, If i was going to get a new long tracked REV it would be a summit because they are cheaper with more features, including a tra 3.. just my 3 cents
LB700 03-10-2003, 04:12 PM I think it would be an awesome sled -- BUT..............
How come no 800 SDI available?
I'm not sure if I would like the narrower ski stance for trail riding - would much prefer the MXZ ski width (unless you're really riding powder all the time, but then you'd want a Summit anyway -- right?
The 136" tracks are amazing on tight trails if the sled is setup for it, so don't let the thought of it being harder to turn scare you. They ARE a lot slower on top end too, but who cares?
Oh yeah...and as idooski says -- that windshield looks cold! I'm sure you can dress up for it and still be warm, but nothing beats a higher windscreen when the conditions are so changable from morning to afternoon, then evening.
Sled Dogg 03-10-2003, 05:10 PM What they list for and sell for are two totally different things! They won't sell even close to list price guys you should know that. I am suprised to see that littleso called windscreen/shield. Guess they want to make a killing on aftermarket parts for the dealers. It is a nice looking machine though.
PANTERAONE 03-10-2003, 05:44 PM prices are getting out of control,i know as consumers we always demand more features every year, for the prices we should be getting 3 or 4 year warranty's....thats why my next sled will be bought in jan-feb,i wont be sucked into the spring order b.s anymore..the zx still rocks, and getting a non current will be a bargin.
MOOVS 03-11-2003, 08:52 AM LB700- When you talk about ski stance are you saying the renegade is narrower than a normal rev? or than a ZX?
The reason I ask is I think I'm going to snowcheck a REVEGADE(thats catchy). What's offset skileg? as advertised on the renegades, Also in the pictures I can't see the handlebar J-hooks?
Thanx...
thetruth4130 03-11-2003, 10:26 AM if you get the regular renagade package it has the higher windshield and no sdi option
and it's cheaper to
i want the revagade x though, oh and some damn snow
bring on the mondo blizzardo
LB700 03-11-2003, 02:45 PM MOOVS...
The Revegade comes with an adjustable ski stance -- either 45.5" or 43".
The MXZ has a 47" stance, which in my opinion, is a lot better on the trails (more stable).
I would prefer a MXZ with a 136" track (and 800 SDI), and without the powder--handle on the handlebars.
Oh well -- can't have everything!
SDRENE800RER 03-11-2003, 04:16 PM I would like to be on the REV chassis, but Im staying on my 02 gade for another season. The prices are getting out of hand for next model year.
snokid 600 03-11-2003, 07:52 PM I'm having a problem choosing what sled I want but I think I'm going with the Renegade 600X. SDRENE800RER do you like the longer track? And how dose the longer track handle on the packed trail? Idon't know how much off the trail riding I will do so It's hard to choose.
Thanks, Ian
