I just came across a Kawasaki Intruder 440 for sale. It is a 1978 model, in what seems to be good condition. My question is, is this machine anygood? I realize that it is old and slow by today's standards, but if parts are hard to find and it was no good to start with then I'll pass. Any help would be great. Thanks.

at a farm auction the sled would go for $75-200.00

Thanks Paul, I'm down in SouthWestern Ontario, 1/2 way between London and Windsor, and this guy wants $1000.00 bucks!!! He must be nuts. Sure it's in good shape, but at 24 years old, how can it be worth so much? It probably only sold for 2500$ brand new in '78. ARE THESE ANY GOOD??? And can you get parts??? Even at 200.00$ it's not worth it if it's junk to start with.

This is my thinking also. I was really only double checking to make sure I don't pass up a good thing. Thanks
