Well, I've been scanning different classifieds and trying to check performance shops, but I just can't seem to find all the parts I need to extend my ZR to 136" (seems to be a lot more available for Doo and Yammi). Finally called my dealer, and the kit (tunnel ext, heat exch. ext, new rails, hyfax, rivets and bumper) from Cat is $679.00; I can probably get 10% off for being a good customer. I know this is more than the bargains that come along from time to time on the boards, but who knows how long it might be 'til I find one for my sled, or the quality of aftmkt. items? What would you guys do?

It's not a bad price actually. I would buy it. at least everything will fit right.

Jim, dont forget the price of a track in your conversion costs (new one or used 136")

Also, are you shortening up your radius rods for a mountain stance?

Other than that seems to be pretty good price...and Fuzzy is absolutely right....beauty of OEM is that it SHOULD fit (problem with kimpex, ect sometimes...close but no cigar!)

At first that sounded high to me, but like Fuzzy said, when I started adding the parts up, it didn't seem so bad. The OEM factor does account for something, for sure.

NDMan, I won't be messing with the rods, I will be on trails, not mountains. I'm figuring a couple hundred bucks for a used track, or maybe around 350-400 for a new one.

Thanks for the input guys, I think I will be going with the OEM package.
