I have a 02 ZR800 CCE and the front undercairage shock is leaking. The one that has the adjustment at the handle bars. Check yours if you get a chance. Plus they say you should only have about 2 turns of freeplay in the knob and mine has about 20 now. It only has 900 miles on it. I think I'm just gonna rebuild it myself and not even worry about taking it in.

Why spend even more money on that new sled. You might have a defective shock. That would be covered under waranty. Have cat pay for the work you have aleady made for your self. The dealer will probably rebuild it with all new seals. Becarefull landing off of those drifts. LOL

my buddy had the same problem on his 600 cross country and his dealer replaced the shock at no cost on warranty. *-goose-
