The race today was one of the best ones I've ever saw, even though I don't care for either of the guys that were going for the win. Nascar might take one of the dates away from Darlington but yet this race just had the closest finish in history. What does everyone else think about Darlington losing a date?

I didnt get to watch the race, but what I saw from the ending, it was a good race. How can you take a date away from Darlington when it has the closest finish since they started using the electronic timing. It is a challenging track and is not a "Cookie Cutter Track". Refering to all of the mile and a half tracks. The drivers all say that it is a challenging track. I like Craven simply because he is a snowmobiler!!! PLus he is an underdog. Would have liked to seen Blaney win, he is a local boy around here. I grew up watching his dad race at the dirt track here along with Dave and his brother Dale.

Well, we have a nascar pool at work and since my guy finished third last week, I had second tol ast pick.I picked Busch, and lost $80.00 it was a good ace though. Kevin
that race is normally a pretty boring race. of course there is the occasional darlington strips put on numerous cars but its not like every race there is that esciting. now if u ask me i say we need 3 bristol races. next week its gonna get crazy.
HOW BOUT THAT # 8 CAR ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reminded me of the days when DW & Dale or Petty & Pearson battled to win. Neither of them were going to give an inch. I wonder how all the "new" fans reacted to the rubbin? :D
i am a new fan, well have been a fan since 98. i love the rubbin. we race late motel prostock cars and on a 1/3 mile track. its all about the rubbin. i love it. just dont like the drivers that can dish it but they cant take it.
