Can the 99 mxz 600 take a track from the newer mxz's. They come with 1" tracks and mine had a 3/4" on it. I looked up underneith and noticed that my coolers are lower than the 2003's. Was wondering if anybody tried it on theres. Any problems with power loss or bogging? My buddy wants to sell me his but he knows very little about skidoo's, even less than me. :p

Yes it will fit.

the track will still ride in the same place. just because the lugs are higher it will not affect where the sides of the track will ride.
