We just got the word today...the Timmins Snowmobile Clubs trails are officially closed for the season! Its been real warm up here and the snow went fast. Many of the water crossings are starting to open and its becoming obviously a safety concern.

Sad to see but I guess it was going to happen eventually, just not so soon!

Hows the weather/conditions in the Muskoka area or in the Northern U.S.? Are you guys still riding?

Yeah, im really depressed. We had great snow less then a week ago and now its GONE. ALL GONE.

Seems that even citys in the north like timmins couldnt escape the heat. Normally the snow goes down here but its good for a 4 or more weeks up there. Well not this year. This season was so great that I was almost taking the snow for granted.

Its just starting to sink in that its over.

Next year im comming up to timmins in january or the moment they have good snow. Ill see ya guys. :D

Last week at this time, I was riding back from Sundridge on D101 to the Seguin. The trails were freshly groomed and in excellent condition. From last Saturday on, the conditions went downhill REALLY quickly :( Oh well, we had a good season.

I can't believe how quickly winter left us this year. It was like almost overnight. Hate that I didn't get one last trip in this year. Who would have thought the snow would have melted so quickly in SO many places. You would think it to be a safe bet for Ontario to have good snow into April. :( ??? :sly: :hallo1: :cussing:

i had the most fulfilled winter ever. winters like the one we just had have to be good for everybody. my wife even got new snowblades and went on many day trips even went to mont tremblant with her friends for a couple days. good winters i think get people off the couch and out into the fresh air.
