Thinking about buying one of these and using it to tow my 4 place enclosed trailer. Anybody out there have one? How do they tow? What are you getting for gas mileage?

If you have to ask about gas mileage, you can't afford one. :p
LOL, How true!

I did see a REALLY cool Hummer in New Liskeard the other day though. It was a two seater with a pick-up box on it. Would be a great work truck for me if the company would triple or quadruple the rental rates.

They get around 10 mpg,and there is no diesel option at this time.
The H2 is basically a 3/4 ton Chevy pick-up chassis with a squared off body, towing capacity is 6500 lbs.

How can it have a 6500 pound rating when the magizines compared it to 1 ton trucks in tow offs? And it WON!!! Said it has the best wheelbase for towing the way the rear axel is set way back. It also has a 1 ton drive train and a big bad 496 cu. inch heart beating under it's hood.

My boss and I went on a trip this winter and we took his H2 The thing is a frigin tank 35 in BFGs posi lock and so on. We were only towing a enclosed two place so it wansn't much of a chore for the H2 but I can say the milage was horrible......(maybe 8 I'm guessing)

The H2 does have the 6.0l, with 316 HP & 360lb ft of torque @ 4000 rpm
It is basically a Yukon/Tahoe chassis, it will tow your sleds with no problem.

GVWR Standard: 8600lbs.
Base Curb Weight: 6400lbs.
Trailer towing maximum: 6500lbs.
Winch capacity: 9000lbs.
Fuel tank capacity: 32 gal.

My bad, our local dealer has one with the 496 in it and I assumed it came that way. guess they must have installed it themselves. It fits nicely though LOL.

Any pics of this 8.1l equipped H2 by chance? That is what should be in the H2 if the bean counters weren't running the show ;)
