What is best lug height for drag racing/holeshots on loose-packed roads & trails?

I have a big, heavy 1107cc ZRT with a 2000 zr 121", .875" ZR track & 240 studs. It's hooks well on hard-pack snow & plowed-type roads. But on loose-pack, soft-pack trails & roads, all I do is dig big trenches by spinning the track. I like to run a lot of studs.

What type & size track should I get for "all-round" trail & road impromptu drag racing. I need use studs. Will I need to get anti-racket cogs if I run the 1.5 or 125" tracks my engine & chassis? What size stud would I need to run if I went with a 1.25'' lug track? 1.375?

Thanks

Get a 1.375" track and run 1.5" studs.

Don't run studs with a 1.250 or 1.35 track at first. See how you like it first then add 96 or with that power 144 max. you may be better off with a lug stud if you don't run on roads though. And another choice among snow dragger's is a 1.5" full paddle but I don't have a clue how it is on the trail. If you do lake runs maybe a 1" with no more than 196 studs!! I had a PSI Genisis 1350cc witrh 235hp in trail form and it started out with 244. Then we pulled some and went down to 196, then down to 168 I believe it was. And what a difference in top end speed and acceleration. You'll just have to get your suspension settings right.

I've now got two seasons under my belt with a 1.25 on an 02 ZR-800. I ran all of last season and about 1/2 of this year without studs but have since gone with 144 (1.375 Woody's down the center) due to icey conditions just before an 800 mile trip. My results are the track is mint in loose and hard pack snow giving superior hook up and braking but of course on ice still needs studs.
The studs were inst. using Woodys large round washers and in the 2800 or so miles since I've only bent a couple but have no tear outs and all the stud tips look mint. Yes I'm a very agressive rider but use my head not to spin the track over rocks etc or crossing roads.
My feeling is that 1.25 is the breaking point between a good dual purpose track and a race or off trail only track.
