I gotta say that I really like that doo. :p :p
SD_Sledhead 03-31-2003, 11:00 PM I thought the Blades looked good when they first came out, but they've only gotten worse looking since then.
GreenMan 03-31-2003, 11:22 PM I agree with SD_Sledhead they should pick a different color instead of yellow/black, that could get confused with doo's on the trail.
Green4Life 04-01-2003, 08:52 AM Looks like a mix between a poo and a doo ta me! :p
800MXZ 04-01-2003, 08:53 AM Back 2 years ago late in the year, Fast had sent one out to Woody's to do stud research on one. I got to take it for a buzz about 5 miles. Very unique machine, and for what it looses in beauty it made up for in engineering. Very nice handling, and light weight feel. The gearbox was quite loud (gear to gear) but it rode spectacular.
History shows, that what is ugly now might not be down the road. The Shelby Cobra was dicredited as "ugly" in the 60's, and is now one of the rarest and most saught after cars in the world.

I LIKE THAT!
paul yarek 04-01-2003, 07:42 PM they're big money but a heads up ride though.
vlbarger 04-01-2003, 08:22 PM I found some more on them.Like paul said they are really high priced 13,000 for a 800cc.They say they weigh 100 pounds less then any other 800 made and handle 100% better. From what I read the engine is made by polaris.
SD_Sledhead 04-01-2003, 08:45 PM I know the first ones that came out had a 700 Polaris engine and the dry weight was 385 lbs. I don't know about the new ones though, I haven't kept up on them.
polcat500 04-02-2003, 02:12 PM Blade is a awsome co. Back in the 60's sleds looked all different, now sled look all the same. Blade is different. Have u seen there sled with a harley v-twin in it? That thing looks sweet! :hallo1:
IMO it looks somewhat like a REV ???
jbird90 04-02-2003, 04:17 PM i thought the newer blodes have the polaris 800 liberty twin.
Also, the front suspension is like no other out their. Double linkage on the front shocks to handle better than and A-arm or radius rod suspension out their.
although, I can't justify the price. Some sleds are in the ball park of 18000. I think I would rather have a vintage car than a snowmobile.
Plus snowgoer ranked the blade (not sure what model) the lowest) when compared to the REV, F7, and ProX
skcowman 04-02-2003, 04:21 PM think 1971 motoski, then look at the blade.
charlo 04-03-2003, 08:43 AM Cutting edge when they first came out but the big 4 have caught up in many ways. I wouldn't be able to justify the price.
kennypope 04-03-2003, 03:03 PM way over priced!!!!!!!
