Did anyone buy a racer to trail ride this year ? how was it with low comp domes ,did it still thrill ?

i looked at buying a 03 racer chassis w/600 ves engine put into it....O MY GOD, by far the funnest sled ive ever had the opportunity to ride...granted it was only for bout 10mins...if you were going to trail ride it, you better look into doing some revalving, unless your "big boned" :p ....unless your going to be riding on all groomed,ice hard trails stick with the 1 5/8 track...you can roost all ur buddies out of every corner....the bars at least to me were just a tad bit forward for me, although theyre adjustable, so that would be a easy fix...the only concern i kinda saw w/it was the seat...w/out having alot of time on it, i cant say as to how well it would go for 150-200 mile/day rides, kinda promotes almost all standup riding, and it lets you slide into corners something nice :inlove: just might get tiring on the longer runs.. could always get 03 prox fan seat, or seat from 6,7,8...all in all i would go for it, the one i drove as you can tell i just loved, it made some wicked whiny noise whenever u simply let off the throttle, got little worse once you touched the break, something in the chance case i presume just didnt feel right...in the end i really wished i had gone for it now that im KINDA lookin to get into some sno-x...stupid me :cussing: :cussing: oh well live and learn...sorry to rant hope it helps...-INDY

I have a friend that bought a 440 polaris pro X and he races it seems to do really well on the tails and most of the time when we ride we look for jumps not just ride around :)
