Opinions of geting in the door now and cutting a deal or waitng to fall/winter to do same. What are the advantages/disadvantages? Looking at 04 Renegade x 600sdi and wondering if I have to hurry and order or should I wait?

order now or you won't find what you want next fall

If you order now your guaranteed to get exactly what you want. If you wait till fall you might not find what you want, but it'll probably be cheaper.

i will never spring order again, the fact is the dealers order all the hot rides but they dont tell you, they say u have to spring order. this confirms a sale. they then tell everyone they have some for sale at cheaper prices then you paid last spring. and even if your dealer doesnt have the particular sled u r looking for they can work with other doo dealers to get the sled u want.
just my opinion....i ordered an x model sled and found guys paying considerably cheaper prices in the fall for the exact same sled.
why pay for a toy u arent going to use for 9-10 months in advance, let the manufacturers sweat it out.

Can only get the X in the spring.
Can only get the 2-yr warranty in the spring.
Can only get the free options in the spring.

Dealer told me the spring break prices are supposedly guaranteed the lowest until at least January. After that it depends on the winter - if it's like this past season prices will drop again, if we get good snow prices will maintain.

Could probably take a chance and possibly find it cheaper next fall/winter, but that's IF you can find what you want.

Your spending over 10000 grand CDN on somthing. You might aswell get exactly what you want.

I vote for spring order. Thats how ive always done it. Its out of the crate and in your garage. Still warm from the manufactoring.

I did the spring thing as well,600HO SDI Adrenaline got the free elec. start, 2 yr engine warranty . Also the colour you want, dealer told me right up front how much he makes on a sled[$750.] ! You don't pay for it till October when it is suppose to be at the dealer than you have 10 days to pay the balance.$300. deposit is required.

I will never Spring Order!!! I have a friend that ordered a 02 X in April 01, paid $7600. Another friend found a 02 X left at a dealer in Jan 02, the original buyer backed out of deal, he paid $6000, and it came w/ RER and a cover. This is due to the subpar winter here in IA, but still why waste your cash. We have dealers in our area still sittin on new 2002's. It is definitely a buyers market, and there is no reason you can't find what your lookin for in Dec. Dealers will locate a sled for you, they should be willing to do about anything to make you happy.

around here you could have bought a 2003 for $2-300.00 less then a spring order with 2 years warranty.

up here not to many guy's are that patient to wait until jan to pick up a new sled when the snow has been flying for a month plus.
I'M spring ordering this year, cause I'm trading two sleds for 1 new one so on a trade like that the dealer won't budge on the price of the new sled to much. And getting full book value on both trades not likely that will change in the fall.
So spring orders depend on your personal curcumstances and they are not for everone..

Friend 2 is lucky to have found the exact sled that he wanted. Or maybe he would have got it diffrent had he spring ordered. Ive very rarly found a X package sled that I wanted. Only sled still parket at my dealer is a 03 blair, and i find that a bit funny. I guess they just got it a bit late.

I will never buy a sled again thats not spring ordered.

I called at least 4 different area dealers looking for a 600ho REV. to see about the price differences from a 04 before I ordered and no one had any only the 800.I am very glad I ordered a 04 after I saw the 2pages of upgrades from last years model. It's true what they say about first year of any model they will have bugs, working in a car plant I know first hand about the continous improvements made day to day, year to year.
