I need to get around and tune my carb a little but im just not sure on my plugs heh.

should you put brand spankin new plugs in then just ride it for a bit and take them out and look?

should you turn it off with the throttle full or off?

here are a few more questions heh

1) why doesnt a perfectly cleaned out plug that was fouled not work as well as a new one?


2) has anyone used that syncrinizing tool for carbs that uses a tube? *

I usually use the full throttle, hit the kill switch method. * But i find full throttle, and then letting off completely works just as good. * * I personally like to run "used" spark plugs for testing, I find brand new spark plugs take too long to change color. * make sure to test the mid-range circuit too, make a difference in the trails.
As for plug color, look for a medium brown. Light brown is good for racing and stuff, but temp. variations and such while trail riding make it too chancy. * anyway, if you need anymore info. just send a message
