Lucky Dog
A California dog exhibited an astonishing will to live recently, showing that she has almost as many lives as a cat. Dosha was hit by a car near her owner’s home on April 15. Then, police decided to end her pain swiftly and shot her in the head. Finally, in what many would assume would be the end of a sad story, she was placed in a freezer at an animal control centre. But animal lovers will be thrilled to hear that this tale has a happy ending. Two hours after putting her in the freezer, a veterinarian opened it back up. What she saw was that the 10-month-old creature was standing up inside of the plastic orange bag she’d been placed in. And Deborah Sally is saying that the dog is doing amazingly well. Now that’s what we’d call strange but true.

The Sound Of Silence
An elderly man’s attempt to be heard by drowning out his wife, has been blocked by German police. The law keepers have confiscated the 73-year-old’s air raid siren that was used to push his wife into submission. "My wife never lets me get a word in edgeways," Vladimir R. said. "So I crank up the siren and let it rip for a few minutes. It works every time. Afterwards, it's real quiet again." The air raid issue came to light after neighbours reportedly complained about the racket coming from the 220-volt rooftop gizmo. Meanwhile, Rosina, Vladimir’s wife, has tried to explain why her husband might complain about her sometimes. “My husband is a stubborn mule so I have to get loud."
