Now before you get ready to ban me, I'm really not trying to start trouble. I just think that a person could be given a little more latitude in what is written in a thread.

This is the post in question:

why did ski-doo happen to do this with their brand new mxz "500" and put a 600 into it. I personally think that it is because the rev 600s are being smoked by the F5s. this is the most ignorent and stupid things ive ever seen done to a sled

let me hear what you have to say

Now, I don't see a problem here...yet.

It could turn into one. It could be this guy is trying to start trouble. It could also be that he just doesn't know how to write effectively. With only 18 posts, can he have a history of this kind of posting to force your hand? I don't see where he lied about anything. His first sentence is true about Doo labeling a 600 as a 500. The next two statements are his opinion. Yeah, I can see where you see a brand bashing might get started, but it certainly wasn't there yet.

Again, I'm not trying to start anything and I'm not looking for everyone to respond.

I just couldn't help posting my thoughts on the subject.

It's not necessarily the post here in question, it's the fact that the user had been warned 6 or 7 times for posting messages that were either offensive or were intended to start a fight.

This was VERY clear when I did a search for his posts and read through them which is why he was banned in the first place. We figured that this was just another one and we attempted to try to stop his fun ASAP.

There was no intention of stopping the topic, just the person. Unfortunately, sometimes this goes hand in hand. Emails and PMs from this user CLEARLY indicated that he was here for one reason only: trouble.

I'm with the moderators on this one.
With the number of Users and posts this site gets.....
Good job.

Thanks for the response.

If there's a history, it tells the story.

It was just an observation... If the guy is that much trouble, I guess my thoughts are...

Why is he here?

That's what I would like to know. :0: Myself and the mods spent some substancial time finding and editing all 18 of his posts.

Well, he had origonally started the same topic, but with bashing Doo and their riders directly in it. Since there was no replys to it, I deleted it, and warned the user. He took it upon himself to repost it and send me a rather nasty email telling me what he thought of me and the rules.

That is how it got shot down.

I understand the situation now Dave. All I was looking for was some clarity. Without seeing his every post to this site, there was no way of knowing. Until I read the responses to my post, it just appeared that the thread got locked a little soon. Hope you didn't take it personal.

No way!

I just wanted it out, as to how NOT to act.

We are not a bunch of Nazi moderators, but I am a true believer with how Corey runs the site and the rules.

Corys rules are what makes this the number one sled site on the net. Sure you can go to alot of sites that allow that type of trash to go on but that is all them sites are, Trashing sites. No real information, just trash talk.

Good job guys. It is easy to bash and we really don't need some one like that on here. I'm sure some of us have been guilty of a little here and there, including myself, but it seems that the message never could get through to him. Again good job.

So.......Could we post his topic somewhere (if it hasn't already been done). I think the question at hand, is a good one. I was wondering the same thing, actually, how do they get away with calling a 600 a 500? won't that create some issues on the racing side of things?

IMO is see it as a good thing, getting more than you payed for instead of less all the time, as the actual CC's of a sled is always less than what they are labeled as. Some more than others but I won't get into that. ;)
