Well, I went to the Polaris dealer yesterday to hopefully buy an '01 Sportsman 400 that I knew was traded in, but it was sold already. He really didn't have any other late model bikes, except a few that he has on ebay that are over $4000 (my appox. budget for this venture). So I went back to the Cat/Suzuki dealer...I can get a new '03 Cat 400I, 4wd auto, for $4625 plus tax. This is $200 less than the next Cat dealer that I called. I figure what the heck, for another $600 more than what I expected to spend, I will have a brand new bike. So unless something else comes up, it looks like Tuesday I will be picking up a new Cat ATV. The only thing I'm not sure of, is that this model is oil cooled instead of liquid cooled, but from what I've gathered, there's really nothing wrong with this method of cooling. Is this so? I just hope they still have one in Cat Green!! :D :p

Thanks for the info lately guys...once I become an ATV owner, I will be posting on ATVWORLD and not taking up sled space for this jargon.

I forgot, that price is w/out taking the winch promo they have going. That is a dealer participatory program, so the dealer has some $$ to deal with if you don't take it.

Cool Jim. I think I almost bought one of those quads at the polaris dealer listed on ebay. Did he have couple sportsman 500 and a 500 HO listed? Looks like I may have a 99 Grizzly 600 thats all tweakeed out. I'll know more tomorrow as I'm waiting to hear back from the owner. Said he contact me in the morning. Double winch's are madatory though lol.

Yes Caleb, he had a few Poo's on ebay...Breese Lawn & Garden. That is my hometown, and I have known the owner since I was knee-high to a .........well, you know what I mean. If anyone here ever bids on his stuff, you can rest assured that the item is right and true. You can't run a business in a small town without a good reputation.
