Moose Magnet 05-14-2003, 08:52 PM For all the canadians on this site the May Run long weekend is just a couple of days away and the gas prices have been slowly going down. Just wondering what the price is in your area? The price of gas is $.69L in Timmins,ON.

Yeah Moose, but all things being relative, it still sucks and is uncalled for...the difference is still the same. Today it would cost me $6 more to fill up my tank than it would have yesterday. These are the only times when I would rather not be driving a Suburban.
These are the only times when I would rather not be driving a Suburban.
No matter how much gas is,I will always own a Suburban. My daily driver is a '97 Bonneville which gets on average 25 MPG with a mixture of highway and city driving.Highway driving it can hit 30 MPG. That 3800 engine is awsome!
Gas here is $1.53 a gallon for 87 :cussing: :cussing: :(
The largest fuel purchase I ever had at one time was around $110.00. Fueled the truck (42 gallon tank) and 2 thirsty sleds.Thats the price to pay to play.

I know what you mean Pete, we'll always own one too. But my wife has one for hauling the kids around (not many miles registered there), and I have one as a daily driver too. My commute is 44 miles one way, at an average of 16 mpg, so 88 divided by 16, times $1.49 equals.......ah, forget about it!!!! It's the only vehicle I would want to commute in with all those lunatics on the highway!
team crash290 05-16-2003, 09:32 AM $1.56 here in alpena mi
kennypope 05-16-2003, 10:52 AM this is the first long weekend in long time were the gas is going down instead of going up!
rob7374 05-16-2003, 10:56 AM It's real sad around here. we were paying about $.62/L up untill last night. Long weekend comes and they jack the price up to to $.69.9 /L . There just aint no justice for crap like that.
has been 69.9 for about a month now, still not low enough but way better than 90.9 way back when there was snow on the ground.
SDRENE800RER 05-16-2003, 06:39 PM southern NH $1.52 gallon for 89 octane
