Today it would cost me $6 more to fill up my tank than it would have yesterday. No matter how much gas is,I will always own a Suburban.My daily driver is a '97 Bonneville which gets on average 25 MPG with a mixture of highway and city driving.Highway driving it can hit 30 MPG. That 3800 engine is awsome! Gas here is $1.53 a gallon for 87 :cussing: :cussing: :( The largest fuel purchase I ever had at one time was around $110.00. Fueled the truck (42 gallon tank) and 2 thirsty sleds.Thats the price to pay to play. But my wife has one for hauling the kids around (not many miles registered there), and I have one as a daily driver too. My commute is 44 miles one way, at an average of 16 mpg, so 88 divided by 16, times $1.49 equals.......ah, forget about it!!!! Long weekend comes and they jack the price up to to $.69.9 /L .
