I am currently working with a dealer on a 2002 zr800 cross country efi with studs , warranty and with 650 miles on it. What would you expect to pay?

Also what differences can I expect from riding my 2000 zr600.

4800-5200 would be about avg. Iam guessing pretty close to that! Night and day difference in the pull of that zr 8 to the zr6 plus the c/c versions shocks are sweet.I don't know if your zr6 was c/c but if i wasn't and you ride hard with some ditchbanging you will love the eight!Good choice and hope you get a good deal. Just out of curiosity why did they have a sled with only 650 miles guy buy a new one?????

Dealer demo it.... My zr 600 was not a cc however I consider myself an aggressive rider.... FYI ican get out the door with tax an registration for $4600

i have the same exact ride, but it has carbs. as far as what u should pay for it, i am from canada so i have no clue, but all i have to say is u r gonna love it. i bought mine last yr with 780 miles on it, i put 3600 on last winter and the only think that broke was the pull cord snaped and i had to get the assmebly replaced cause it had a recal on it. actually make sure your fluid lines that run to your shock tied away from your track cause mine was rubbing on my track and i lost all my fluid. no big deal but something to look out for. injoy

Sounds good, check the shocks, make sure the dial adjust nob is good and tight when you crank it down [clockwise] also get your head down into the skid and have a close look for leaks. These sled's had a problem with shocks and or springs being to soft. How much do you weigh?

even if you have to sink a couple of buck's in it ,
you are getting a pretty good deal.
i payed almost $3000.00 more then that for,
my firecat.......some one else has payed,
the depreciation for you.
the CC is a great sled...i would have got a,
800 myself, if the firecat hadent came along.
what part of mich, are you from?
i am from the traverse city area.

That is a GREAT price on that sled. Even with the last winter being so poor and sales down, I would jump all over that sled for that price, as long as you're confident with it not being a wrecked sled. Some dealers are still trying to sell new '02's for close to $6000.00. Since it was a demo, your warranty should not have started yet.

:withstupid: That is a great price and a great sled. I was seriously thinking of getting one last fall but couldn't find one for sale anywhere near me. You will definitly be happy with that sled over your old 600! ;)
