I don't know if it is a long track thing or just that my suspension is not adjusted right. but when I am skimming the sled is always bobbing up and down. all the other sleds I watch ride smooth. I have crossed 1 1/2 miles with ease but she bobs all the way. any guys have this problem ? did you do anything to fix it?

that would be the front of the rear skid is too soft and it collapses the pulls out. you will need more tention.

so what your saying is that I have to adjust the tension on the spring on the front shock?

yup it is actualy best to have zero travel. on my water sled the rear skid is solid. what works well is . you take the shock right out and replace it with a solid piece. you could make it longer then the shock. but that will stop the bobbing

so if i try this water skimming thing, i should have my rear suspension as stiff as it will go, right?

Yes it will go better on water with a stiff suspension.

that sounds good to me. cause my rear shock was only set at medium ride. I guess I'll crank it up to max and see how she goes. :D
