:cussing: musquitos just got bad at my house 2 days ago, cant even go outside they r so bad unless u drench your cloths in repelent. i think the only time i can tolerate them little pests r when i am fishing. I see u can buy these things that attract musquitos and they run off of propane, anybody have any experience with them or know ho wthey work?

They work ok if there are only a few people in the yard. If there's a crowd, the little :cussing: still attract to people.

Bugs are ferocious here, too. :hallo1:

Interesting idea, but where do you get a block of dry ice up north?
And how long will it last? :withstupid:

I have a friend who has the small moisquito magnet and he has not had good results as they are not out in full numbers yet. The medum and larger size is better but still multiple units are required to be effective. After a few weeks there will be a drastic decline in the skeeter pop. The propane tanks last approx. 3 weeks on 24/7.
There are other products that kill them in the larvae stage. Here is a couple of links

HEre is another site that has an abundance of info.

if yer like me when hte bugs get really bad i drag the sled out of the garage and start it up and rev it up and down while holding the oil pump arm up. It usually gets them away for a bit!

Dry Ice does work, but its not cheap either, and won't last all that long.
Most welding supply shops will carry it. I would get the block form, as it will last longer.

I've used it lots of times in coolers to keep food frozen while at the cottage, only problem you can't get near the cooler for all the skeeters. ;)

KING GOT IT RIGHT.

ONE WORD DDT.

It will kill everying flying for 1km in any direction you point it. Unfortunatly thanks to the greenies this stuff is banned and now we have West nile and other crap to worry about.
