These are pics of a buddies sled stuck way off the trail on our trip last week to Elliot Lake Ontario.

Took almost 2 hours to get the sled out.

What was your friend riding? Was he trying to highmark the hill or did you guys push it out of a helicopter to see how much fun it would be to spend 2 hours digging a sled out? http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

That doesn't look so bad....I've seen worse. There is lots of room to work down there....must have had alot of "coffee" breaks while you were working http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Why didn't he just turn around and drive back up? http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif Those little bushes won't stop a sled....

It took 8 guys to just take the sled off the tree and turn it around. The pics do not do the angle of the hill justice. The snow was 4 or 5 feet deep (up to my arm pits).

It was a 97 EXT 600 (ZRT with steel skis). He blew the coner, and had half a notion he was going to ride it out. When he got to the real steep side hill section, WFO and she kept going down farther and farther. From there it was just a chance to find the smallest tree to stop the sled.

I think I would have tried to park it on a bigger tree and let the insurance company dig it out. http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif
