What sled do you have? I know there are a few different companies that offer adjustable fuel pressure regulaters for the Cat EFI. If it was me, and I bored my throttle body, I would want to increase the pressure. I know in the automotive world on a FI system, if you do mods to the motor it is wise to increase fuel pressure. In some cases adding pressure increases HP without doing anything else.

I hope that helps some

yes i have a cat and one more on the way. i'm awhere of adjustable regs. made my own. main purpose was to lower pressure because of running too rich. thats what made me think of the boring deal. more air and more fuel means more power. i know you have to watch mid range very carefully though.

if your boring your sled to lean it out, just start with 1mm and see what you get? im not sure if lowering pressure will lean you sled out, the prom has a preset reading for the oxygen sensor if you lower pressure im assuming is will compensate w/more fuel. it may do the same if you bore your carbs, also.

I am just curious if anybody has done this. Probably wouldn't ever do it unless it has been proven. The sled I'm relating to though is a 96 580 pantera. Bad fuel milage and a little bog when you pin it. With electric pump boreing wouldn't effect fuel supply like a carb would. So it would make a lean condition in my opinion. Right or wrong ? As far as 02 sensor it doesn't have one, just air Temp.,barometric pressure, and coolant Temp. sensors

well in that case boring your carbs may work(no o2 sensor).
