I had good results with thicker ramps(228,145,cf 1,280) on earlier machines.
Now with my -01 800 twinn the thinner, longer (300) work as good as or better.
anyone who had other results????? ???

I had good luck with the 228 on an '02. They were much better than the 301's that it came with. I also have used the 287's, and I like these ramps for overall riding. They luanch just a little lighter than the 228's and pull much harder in the mid on my sled.

a 260-420 with 20 grams using the 301's work pretty good too.

Stock ramps work best in all conditions, if you add 1 or 2 grams to reduce the engagement so it takes off a little softer, that will do the same as buying another set of ramps which are way more money than a set of pins.

So whats stock? One year doo puts in a 300 ramp then they change their mind and put in a 301, you dont think doo screws up? Depending on what your dooing your not gonna tell me there arn`t ramps more suited for say "DRAG RACING" than others, I`ve heard the arguments of tuning around whatever is stock and to each their own, you look inside the clutches of people that are winning and the "stock" ramp is the anomally. I`m not sayin you cant work with it but to say that its the only way to go to say the least is just weird.....

Thats a pretty Broad statement that I tottaly disagree with!! Stock ramps are pretty good in many intsances but if you think theyre the best you havent tried the right ramps yet. Adding 2 grams to a stock clutch setup is going to create a sled that backshifts like a slug, is very lazy feeling and will overshift and fall on its face everytime you encounter track spin... AS to the original question I too Im a huge PX fan, I see Jason Houle is now making PX replicas for the TRA3.
