I just bought a wrecked 01 800 MXZ for testing purposes and I was looking at them with z24bb yesterday here at the shop and we noticed that they are different than the ones on my 02. I was under the impression that they were the same. I haven't torn them down yet. That's next. :devil: Does anyone have any info on this?

How are they different? I have had the carbs off my 01 many times and have worked on the carbs for an 02. The only difference that I remember was that the 02 had the heated carb option. Other than that, I didn't see anything that caught my eye.

they changed the jetting number sequence on the 02 ..the 01 comes with 500 main jets the 02 comes with 500n not the same jet size ...

They are a different casing is what I was getting at. I'm not sure of the differences yet. I'll post when I find out.
