I have a 2002 mxz 800 with the rer secondary and was wondering if I can switch to a 2001 non- rer secondary.Impossible or just swap them?

It's doo-able. You just need to make sure your center to center is right on before you make the change or make a different C-C gage if you are using the spacer type. The formula clutch is 2MM larger in diameter, so you would have to make the spacer 1MM smaller.


I set one up for mine and found that I needed about .100" shim behind the formula secondary to make the alignment right.
