we are thinking about a possible trip this winter to New Hampshire and going riding in the white mountians. we hear that sledding there is amazing. for the past 6 yrs i spend 4 or 5 days every summer in the lincoln area and i just love it there. the scenory is so nice and its got to be even better when its all white. But would it be worth the trip and the money it would cost to truck our sleds 7 hrs when we do have great snowmobiling in out own province of New Brunswick. SWRules

it's always nice to go away but if you have great sledding right there then plan a trip right on the sleds from home it is neat. i just love picking a place in the morning where you plan on being that night and if the trails are monday morning whoops then oh oh you still have to do it.
yeh i know what u mean paul, we have great snowmobiling right from my back yard, the groomed trial is only 200 yards from my back yard. i am very lucky but its always nice going different places, specially when they would be in the white mountians. if u havnt been there, its a must to see.

Hey Dawg,
If there was good snow and you could do it mid week it would be enjoyable. Trails are on the small side till you get over toward Twin Mt. Anything north of there is pretty darn good. Why not just go to Maine? Closer and better trails with no speed limit like NH(45mph) . I live in NH and prefer to ride northern maine where you can easily do 300+ mile days and never touch the same trail twice! :D
serious about those 45 mph speed limits....... we used to ride in maine a lot. the northern part, and trials there r very similar to the trials here in New Brunswick. we just always thought it would be nice to go to NH for the scenery. Not sure if i like those speedlimits, how inforced are they.?

45mph... hmmm, seems a touch fast for us Ontario riders... our government thinks we can only ride 50kph (30mph) :cussing:
I hope they raise ours some day!!
i get bored at 45 mph, unless its a really really twisty trial. i soppose the there will be speed limits here to in a few yrs :cussing:
