Polaris 600 Ves

Anyone get there 600 VES bored to run 700 pistons. Make it a 660 over the summer?

Hello xc600 i have a December 2001 snowtech magazine. Were one of the feild tester took a xcr 440ves replaced the stock 440 cylinders with 600ves cylinders then he had the cylinders bored out to allow the polaris 700cc big block pistions to fit with the shorter stroke of the small blocks made 660cc the mans name is George Poynter if u are interested in makeing you'r so called 600 into a bad as 700 by one of the old articles just call up and ask for the december 2001 issue and i will beet all you'r qwestions will be answered i hope this helps have a great winter.

Yeap read that article when that one came out still have it too. I have all the info on the boring etc. Just looking to see if anyone has had on on a dyno. Or knows how I can get a LRM pipe welded by SLP.

Hey xc thanks for the pm greatly appreciated i would beet that snowtech did a dyno run on it some were or is going to should cal them up and ask them do it all the time and they are extremly help full not sure about you'r pipe though but i'm sure they can weld it. ? did u have the cylinders bored all ready ect

No never bored it yet. Still spending to much cash on my 82 toyota 4x4 project. ???

I know a guy that moved and has a H.T.G. triple sitting in his fathers garage.It could be for sale cheap ,the motor `s carbs are sold ,it made around 180 H.P. on pump gas.It may have 500 miles on it.What happened is he sold the sled less engine . Cape Breton stock..............

Whats he want for it what bottom end is it bolted to? Interesting :D I think I sent you a PM on it not sure if you checked it.

No dyno runs but I'd place it in the 130hp range. Stock pipe, stock reeds, 25/41 gears. It ran 114mph on good ice(radar) running a 1.25 inch track and 144 picks. Ignition is a "03 RMK perc box with the RMK curve . This year I'll be adding a HSP chubby pipe, v force, and bored carbs. SLP is welding LRM pipes for Carl's Cycle. They won't fit a ProX...I tried.

Thanks AFJ i have talked to you on other sites about yours. That was Eric Gorr you got to do your cylinders right? That many miles on it thats great. Yeah I talked to Carl's cycle they said they are hoping to have a stamp made for the proX pipe for this coming season I sure hope so.
