Sometimes to make complete use of the forum I have to log in other times it `s done automatically which I prefer. Is there a problem on my end?

The forum stores a cookie on your computer that will remember your log in information when you come back.

As long as you don't delete this cookie, trun cookies off, or use the logout link, the forums will auto log you in.

Recently though, some of our upgrades has caused users to have to login again. This will happen again soon since we plan another upgrade in a few hours.

As far as your member title goes, the system uprade is NOT complete yet. Until that is complete, the system will act a bit funky for a while.
