do the stick on mirrors stay on as good as the bolt on mirrors?

The Cat mirrors are great that mount right on your windshield, they are also probably the easiest to seeout of because they are almost at eye level. There is no need to look down for your mirros, just take a quick look to your right or left. i love mine. here is a picture.... X- COUNTRY CAT 08-11-2003, 02:04 AM I prefer the stick on ones I got from Canadian Tire or most auto stores, there flat, about 4 inches around and pivot for adjustment. Just stick them on the back of your hood, they can't get knocked off and there hardly noticable to anyone else (around here some guys think you have a geezer sled if you got big mirrors sticking out) no offense Dawg. :) there also way cheaper too! dawg 08-11-2003, 10:08 AM no offence, i just find it more safe when u can see what is behind u. lot better than looking over your shoulder and taking your eyes off the trial. none of the guys here look at u as having a grampy sled if they have mirrors on them, and acttually the new mirrors produced by manufactures look pretty descent we think. Btw your sled looks good with those mirrors it down hirt the looks at all dawg 08-11-2003, 10:48 AM thats right elk, the new cat mirrors dont look all that bad. however they are about $100 for a set. not sure wether they will fit a xcr, but i bet u could make them fit. i would give it a try and see. if u have a chance to sit on a cat with these type mirrors, check them out. they are so easy to see and very easy to look at with out taking your eyes off the trial. actually i was never a fan of there looks at first. but now i would ride without them. Dose arctic cat make them that why they cost so much? dawg 08-11-2003, 11:12 AM thats right elk, they are made by AC and thats why they are so pricy. they came out in 2002. i havnt seen an aftermarket copy for them. not saying there isnt one though. i would think someone will make an aftermarket mirror sometime. jtkennedy9 08-11-2003, 10:17 PM I still like the hand mirrors. | ||
