hey guys, whats nicer than to be out on a nice day with good trials and then come along and see the groomer just getting back from the area where u are heading too.

This is our Fredericton Club Groomer, we have 2 of these tractors. the other is a Green John Deer which i have no picture of.

It's been two years since I've seen one of those things. Gosh, I'm tired of this warm weather, and ready for snow!!

Bring on the sled shows!!

i've been on many a trip where i would have liked to see one of those coming toward me on monday morning. those monday morning trails are something to take down to the river and wash your clothes on.

Yeah, I agree, but I must admit, I hate when I'm making great time on a freshly groomed trail and then catch up to one. Your really screwed, as soon as you pass him, your on the trails from hell, but they go too slow to stay behind.

They need to make a groomer that can do 50km/h ;)

fishhog.....yeh a 50kmh groomer would be nice but i bet they wouldnt get the job done. they need to go slow to comprise the snow.

last spring we stayed in New Castle NB for 4 nights, and i never saw so many groomers in my life. I mean the trials were absolutly beautiful. i am sure in one evening of riding we saw 8 groomers out in about 5 hrs of riding. we were just kinda out for the first night scouting the trials to see where we should go for the next days run. we would go out a certian trial for say 5 - 10 miles then return to a junction and go on another trial. what would happen was we would go out a freshly groomed trial and on the way back we would meet the groomer coming back out. then hit another trial that was just grooomed,, play on that for a few miles, and then on our way back our cat tracks would be gone because another groomer had went through. Like how can it get any better. Wish i would have had my camera because it was the first time i had ever seen 2 groomers meet on the trial. one going one way and the other going the other way. :D

I hate it when you come along a freshly groomed trail, and there is a pack of Blair Morgan wannabees spinning their track out of every corner, and trashing the trail before it can set up.

damage inc....or a wheeler runs over it. whenever a trial is fresh, it needs time to set, i like going out early in the morning aftrer the trials were drug the night before. the trial needs some time to set.

Those really cold mornings that SUCK to start your sled, are absolutely INCREDIBLE if the groomers were out the night before and the trails got real hard! You may be freezing you balls off but....what a ride!

very funny, i am assuming that was u in the picture. i can only imagine why it was closed. some retard went off the trial even though there were signs posted to stay on the trial. :(

Thats usually the case. These are likely the same fools that still go down a trail when it's closed. This crap is just more ammo for the tree huggers. I'll admitt it is awfully tempting sometimes to stray from the trail when you see monster drifts on a field edge or know that there is a hidden ditch that holds 4 or 5 feet of soft powder.

LMAO That's my sled yes but, No that would be my teenage son in the Pic i am 6'1 :D You are way off base... But a typical response non the less from not having any info. Sorry for leaving out the details..

For the record we did NOT drive on the trail.. What happened was the guy with the gun built a new house right where the trail used to go thru the year before, so the sign was put up and the trail was routed around his house.. My boys and I have NEVER been off trails and even as teenagers they are BETTER riders and more responsible than 80% of the people I know that ride sleds.. Both started at ages 4 and 5 and I have drilled them on safety, trails manners, hand signals, etc,etc..

Cheers,

great job raising those boys evel. I am only 23 and it brings back memories from when my dad and uncle was teaching me and my cousin to ride at a younger age.
