When I knew I was going to be picking up a sled in northern IN yesterday, I contacted Dooman to see if he wanted to meet up somewhere. After getting the sled, Barry met me on his Harley at a restaurant along the interstate near his hometown. It was nice to sit down, have a soda together, and put a face to a name of one of the fellow sledders that we chat with on these boards. He's a super nice guy (for a Hoosier :p ), and hopefully we'll be able to hook up up north sometime this season. Too bad we don't have the time to meet with fellow members more often.

Thanks Barry for riding over to meet and chat.

Hey Jim,

How is the new wife's sled? I mean, how's the wife's new sled? Pretty good condition?

I have the sled trailer in the back yard and I have the big 3/8" strips from the dump truck liners for puting in some of the trailer. I'm going to remove the ski slides first and seal the floor still.

This'll have to wait, since my girlfriend just ordered a 3 season sun room. Only thing is that I had to remove the old deck, concrete patio slab, bricks, footing, and dig a new footing.

We'll get to the trailer somtime though. I may do it one night when I'm tired of messsin with her house. I have to remove the ski slides first.

lets see a pic of her new sled.....

Woody, I made a post in the Cat forum in the Ski Stance thread. Not bad, overall like new. Took it for a spin in a vacant field yesterday, it was a good time.

Yea, that Dooman. I once heard he was 6'10" tall and 435lbs. But with rumors abound, it wasn't true LOL

Barry, did you get the 700 back together.
