that depends on a great number of things? Are shocks good or need rebuilding?Have you set it up tighter? New heavyer springs with different valving would work. I think the main question should be, why is it bottoming out? Give a holler, should be able to come up with something. Honk

If you're bottoming, there is a problem with the springs, shocks, or your set-up. List some particulars and maybe we can get you headed in the right direction.

Hello :)

WEll i dont excactly bottom out all the time but if i hit alot of drifts hard it tends to touch just for a sec. :(

Just wondering how i could get more clearance, how much are gas shocks? :D

Would they fit? ;)

Someone told me to drill the rear skid forward maybe half an inch?? ???

The shocks are tightened rite up and they are stock from the factory and i havnt had them rebuilt :sarcasm:

First, you need to be sure that your shocks and springs are OK.

If you are bottoming because you are jumping drifts and landing on the rear wheels all the time, or if your rear bumper is bent from jumping then you have nothing to complain about. Learn how to change the attitude of your sled while in the air.

If that's not the case, then this is my theory on bottoming the rear skid.
If you don't bottom out once in awhile, you're not using all of your suspension. I set mine up for the best quality ride as possible. If I bottom more than twice on a 5 or 10 mile ride, then it's too soft or needs to be more coupled. If I hit one of those unexpected drops and it bottoms real hard, then it's too soft. If it never bottoms, I'm taking a beating all day when it could be set softer.

IMO depending on the model you have you might be able to get a heavier set of torsion springs or at least set the ones you have at the highest setting. SWRules
