if you not jumping it alot put the ad boivin front end kit on it. it woks awesome on my 01 xcsp 800.
tifa_5_2000, can you just buy the front end kit? I have always seen the 3 pc kit. Including the handle bar riser, rear suspension adjustment, and front end.

Guys, before buying any kits, you might try backing way off on the middle spring tension, like to the point where there is no preload. Spring has enough tension to keep holders in place only with no weight on suspension. You might want to play with your front strap in different places, we run ours as loose as poss. Front suspension springs, same way, enough tension to hold keepers in place with no weight on them. Then see if you still think you might need the kit. Our '01 and 02 800's both handle like they are on rails with this set up, good weight transfer, inside ski lifts rare, usually a reminder things are getting a little stupid....and are both completly stock.

yes you can. the rest is just junk. they make it sound like the rear kit is a big deal...all it does is turn your FRSS blocks togather, instead of doing each. ps small adjustments are the best, dont ever back the spring pressure off till its loose, the retainer will fall out while your riding.

Backing off the tank spring to almost no preload is the way to go.
Also running your rear torsion springs on low unless you over 200lbs.
The ski springs should have about 1/4-3/8 preload.if you have the single spring.
The Pro X front end is alot different that an XC.
The shocks are straighter and shorter trailing arms for faster response turning.
If you still have lift you can tighten the limiter alittle.
