Was wondering if anyone can recommend a good shop somewhere in the Northeast who is qualified to rebuild fox shocks. Would like a reputable shop to look mine over.

Send the shocks to:

Very good service and good price.

Thanks guys. Ultra, I just started ordering some of the parts. I needed some gaskets, and wrist pin bearings to get it back together. Hey, buy the way, you have any secrets as to how to clean up the crankcase. I was thinking about soaking both halves in simple green overnight. Think it would mess up the cases? God I love this site. I can't wait for the new conversion! I'll send you a PM when I get it all back together. I need to talk to someone about timing the motor.

Simple green might help clean the outside of the cases. Make sure you get all of the sealer off of the case halves. I use a die grinder with a fine 3M roloc disk. Use Yamabond (yamaha dealer) to seal the case halves.

Thanks UltraGN,

I'll give it a try. Are you pretty liberal with the yamabond. Should I use it sparingly or should I be pretty liberal with it.

XCRSP-

Be liberal with the yamabond. Just try to kep it from oozing out too much on the inside of the case. No need for gobs in there.

Mk,

Checked out the site this morning. It looks great. I'll be calling you in the next couple of weeks to arrange some rebuilding. Hancock Lumber in Bethel is a great customer of mine so I will try to arrange a drop off point when I get through the area.

Thanks
