this is cool heres the story for it

This awesome picture was taken with a digital camera in the
Bitterroot National Forest in Montana on August 6, 2000, by a
fire behavior analyst from Fairbanks, Alaska, by the name of
John McColgan.

Since he was working while he took the picture, he cannot
sell or profit from it, so he should at least be recognized
as the photographer of this once-in-a-lifetime shot.

Please forward this on to your e-mail contacts.
Maybe someday it will get back to him and we can show him
that he has indeed been recognized for his efforts!

One of the most incredible shots I've ever seen. Had to have been amazing and scary taking it.

As stupid as it sounds, I sometimes wish we could understand the way animals think. That picture at least explains that they know how to protect themselves from fire ;) ;) Fire hot  Water cooooool :inlove:

the sad thing is that i am sure not all the animals made it to the water for safety. :(
