Good2Go 08-29-2003, 03:35 PM I just found a good deal on a '95 Summit 670. It has 3600miles and is in mint condition. Just wondering if these had any problems? Apparently they are fairly heavy so would they be good on gas? How about going through deep snow? thanks. Those where really heavy on the front end. Should be sa fast or faster then the mx and better in snow than the mx too. If the price and condition is right go for it! Its a summit so it should be good in the deep snow which is what i hope. SWRules Can't go wrong with the 670, great engine. That F2000 chassis is really heavy though, and the rear C-7 skid is a back breaker. If you're looking to carve trails with the occasional deep snow run, you'll be fine. -Rob mnpowderman 12-24-2003, 02:25 PM Did you get the sled? I also just bought a 1995 Skidoo Summit 670, upgrading from my 1990 Polaris Indy 500. I am looking for specifications and any magazine reviews on this sled. What lug height is on your track, I believe mine is 1 1/4" but I'm not sure. P.S. The first thing I did on my 670 is replace the recoil starter assembly with a newer version that has a larger diameter pully for the roap. This makes the 670 easier to pull over. sagebrush 12-24-2003, 04:12 PM As mentioned, their a little front end heavy but the power and the long track make up for it. I would add a good set of, light weight wide skis and a after market silencer to get some weight off the front end. On the plus side they have good trail manors, no darting and inside ski lift. Was the summit really hard to pull over when you got it? Mine is too.
