Any one install a exhaust silencer on a MXZ 600? I'm looking to change the sound abit and maybe 2-4 HP out of it. I've been looking at Dynoport, SLP,Etc. Just don't know which is better or best best bang for the buck. Thanks.

MBRP B&B Trail Canister would be my choice if your just looking for a bit of bark with not too much bite, and in my opinion they are the best sounding and the sharpest lookin under the hood with the polished stainless steel body. Just check the link im sure you have heard of them.

I put a Snow Stuff Terminator silencer on my 02 mxzx 600. Sounds good and you gain about 2 hp. Not to loud just enough bark. Only about 150 bucks too.

I have a Dyno-port silencer I had on an 1999 MXZ 600 works good, a little loud for me. I'm selling it cheap if you are interested.

of all the silencers we've dynoed over years i've never seen an increase in h.p.and some actually decrease as much as 8 h.p. and most are embarassing loud when pulling into gas stations or eating places where non snowmobilers could also be, i realize that is your choice but it does add a black mark to snowmobilers when we make ourselves more visable in a negative way, sorry not trying to preach but we actually try to talk customers out of cans and were a harley dealer.
