I have a 96 Mach Z that might be for sale for the right price. Do you want a sled that needs work or a mint turn-key machine? Older sleds can need a lot of maintenance to run reliably or with the same level of performance they had when new.

I'm the original owner of my sled. It has been trailered in an enclosed trailer and stored in my garage the entire time. It has ABSOLUTELY no rust or corrosion anywhere. It has never been damaged. The paint is perfect. When I do take it out, which isn't that often, it gets a lot of lookers because it's so clean. The chassis has 1700 miles. The engine is a Russ Lemke 990 with less than 500 miles on it. I have over $4500 in the engine alone. This sled is extremely quick. You can lift the ski's off at will at over 70 mph. I've had it up to the high 120's on hard pack on a lake and it will go quite a bit faster on ice. I have never had it topped out. I don't know the absolute top speed. 130 is all I need to go on a sled.

Serious inquiries only. $6500 firm. I paid $7600 for the sled, $550 for the Camoplast speed track, $4000 for the motor work and clutching, $750 for the pipes, $400 for studs (everyone is straight and as sharp as new), $150 for the cover, $250 for new Flex ski's, $85 for carbides.

Russ Lemke builds motors for Parquette and Marchbank. He has been a consultant to Ski-doo for their motors. His engines still hold some world records. He rates his engines very conservatively and never uses a dyno. Strange how his 200+ hp 990 motors are faster than many much higher rated hp engines. He does no advertising whatsoever and is busy year around with a backlog of work. All customers come to him from word of mouth. His 990 motor is not some cheap easy big bore kit. It is a complete reworking of the engine to include a stroker crankshaft, beautifully ported cylinders with ceramic coated pistons, worked head, etc.

The sled has 3600 KM or 3800 KM , I don't remember ... that's 2250 mile to 2400 mile . I have a BAD Back and the sled is to heavy to be picking up , I wish it had reverse , or I was 15 years younger . hahaha
