I am seriously thinking about trading in my Mach Z Millennium edition on a new Rev. What engine should I go for the 600 H.O or SDI. I do no know much about the new SDI (good or bad).

Thanks,
Paul

I think SDI is going to be good for the guy who just rides. Scary thing my dealer told me was that it has to be hooked to their laptop to be programed and that the throttle bodies are programmed on the assembly line for proper air/fuel flow and the the screws are capped on the throttle bodies.....so if some one tried to adjust their air screw or something then the only way to re-fix it is to have the sled go back on the assembly line to re-calabrate. Thats scary

Thats one of my main concerns I don't like to be handcuffed to my dealer for any mods etc...
Many Thanks

SDI has no air screws. The throttle adjustment is sealed just like cars and trucks have been for years. The dealer will be able to reprogram if there's any need for a calibration change.

The SDI is electronically controled to meet the demands of the engine, meaning spot on jetting all the time. Less wasted gas than carbed engines. This engine will run better than a carbed engine everyday unless you want to rejet throughout the day and from day to day. And better gas mileage too. SDI is the way to go.
