Hello all,

I got a tempaflow and according to the directions you need to jet it for -20 degrees farenheit for the correct installation. I have a 97 powder extreme with the 600 tripple, tripple- which is essentially a zrt with a longer track and was wondering what the jets would be for that setting, both the pilot and main jets. I also have DG silencers for it so that should make the jetting a touch higher for the better flow. Any help would be very much appreciated since I will be going to a grass drag tomorrow and would love to get it dialed in before I run.

P.s. I do have the AC manuals on order but they have not come yet.....

Thanks,

Tony

My brother runs a 98 powder extreme and I run a 98 ext triple. last year i did some jet changes on the ext, I put 360 in and at the end of a 1/4 mile run the rpm's fell off (500) and the electrodes turned blue (scary) I jetted back to 370 and it pulled good across the field again, this year I am going to 380pto, 390center, 380mag, the center cyc was still a bit lean for my liking with 87 octane fuel. My clutching is sensitive and with a stock setup I wouldn't have seen the rpm drop off just a flattening out of the pull. The day temp was +12 deg F. I can also tell you how to get away from any bogg the sled has if interested. :) :)

Zeng62,

I have it jetted at 350/35's right now. The plugs are a good light tan color. But I do have that terrible bog at the low end. It seems to be from start (4,500) to about 5,500 or so rpms. After that it tears like the dickins. I at first put a new belt on it. It is 1/32 of an inch thicker and is riding about a 1/32 of an inch above the edge of the secondary. For several take offs it got rid of the bog. But then the bog came back. Makes wonder what is causing it, so yes I am very interest in your bog remedy. I started to think it was maybe clutches out of line or even broken motor mounts but the mounts checked out okay. Just need to check the clutch alignment now.

Thanks,

Tony
