That can be caused be to much helix from the start (your 64 deg) or the secondary spring is to weak (you need more side pressure). So you can install a new helix less than 64 or install a secondary spring with more side pressure, or you may need to do both to keep the belt from sucking. I'd go with a 60/54 helix. A purple EPI secondary spring. Polaris 10-62 prim clutch weights. Maroon EPI primary spring 185/320 Gear 23/40 and you can use your stock chain. If it over revs, install the purple EPI prim spring 185/275 I'd look to shift your sled at 8300~8500 rpm. We ran almost the same engine setup as yours at the 600'~660' radar runs last week on a 96 ZRT. The 64 start deg. on your helix sounds tall to me. It's not hard to find out if it's too much helix, just put the stock helix in and see if it still lays down out of the hole, don't hold it open to long it will over rev.
