Good2Go 09-15-2003, 08:33 PM Hey guys, on my dirtbike the nut that screws onto the bore is stripped. It is a 9/16 size nut but i have looked in 2 canadian tires and cannot find another nut. The nut that is on the bike now fits nicely into the 9/16 socket, so i went around downstairs and found various nuts that fit into the 9/16 socket but are too small too screw onto the bore! What the heck? What can i do besides welding the flyhweel on?? Can i re-tap the bore and find another nut? BOBLERIII 09-15-2003, 08:58 PM what kind of bike is it? Also the head of the bolt/screw may vary due to space limitations. Your best bet would be to go to a Suzuki dealer, get the PROPER bolt, find out the thread diameter & pitch, then get the corresponding Heli-coil kit. | ||
